Public servant and retired teacher with a bachelor's degree in religious sciences at the University of Montreal. In 1970, Pierre Hurteau did two years of international cooperation in Cameroon as a teacher. Upon his return return, he continued to work for international development organizations and finally began a career in the Quebec public service in 1978 in the field of social solidarity and subsequently in the field of health insurance. During his years in the public service, he completed a master's degree in the history of religions, then a doctorate at Concordia University in Montreal, where I also had the joy of teaching full-time for two years.
